I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving, and are enjoying the cooler weather.
Our big news is that we won the Laughlin International Rally on the new G650X challenge.
The bike field was small, but we beat a very competitive Husqvarna and a KTM 640 Adventure.
The most impressive feat was that our rider finished 11th overall out of 41 rally prepped cars and trucks.
Todd Davis was our rider, and he accomplished this feat without a roadbook, and without pre running several sections of the course.
He is a fantastic rider, and we are talking about racing the best in the desert series during 2008.
I believe Todd will race our G650 in the Parker 250 at the beginning of January.
We will keep you posted on that so you can come out and cheer us on.The new Klim vented dirt bike helmets are in for all of you off pavement junkies, as well as their unsurpassed technical enduro rider wear. With the coming 450 dirt bike from BMW and the F800GS already being sought after, we thought that this gear would really round out our clothing selection, so come in and check it out. We really want to end the year with a bang, so come on in and take advantage of all of the specials outlined in the other sections of the newsletter. ![]() Jen and I are also proud to announce the arrival of Jack Cartwright. He came into this world on November 11th, and is growing rapidly (just like his dad’s midsection). Thanks for your continued support and loyalty to Iron Horse Motorcycles. We could not do it without you. Enjoy some of the pictures below - John

FREE BIKE
-- ASK ME HOW!!! My wife and I have moved north of town (about 25 miles from the shop) and now have a nice commute everyday. This is quite a financial burden with a 13MPG SUV. So...I bought another bike!
The savings on gas alone pays for the bike. $12 per week instead of $75 per week.
Over $270/mo in savings.I commuted home on an F800ST last weekend -- traffic lights, slow drivers, stop and go, etc. I still got 56MPG. So my thought is that if you are fed up with the RIDICULOUS gas prices you should consider a new F800S or ST (or any other BMW motorcycle for that matter). You could add to your fleet or maybe it's time to start or get back into motorcycling. The payments could be less than $250/mo. for an F800S. The savings will allow you to buy more Christmas presents too!! And... it's much more fun to ride than it is to drive. Forward this to all of your SUV-driving, non-riding friends, and people who are going to buy you Christmas presents (HINT--bow on a new BMW under the tree).
And finally, to all American Express Card Members:
Get a K1200R Sport for only $5000. December 4th is |
