RawHyde presents - The American Adventure Riders "Challenge" June 6th through the 9th, 2007
There has never been an event like this in North America!
RawHyde is excited to announce the "2007 Challenge" for adventure motorcycle riders.
What is the "Adventure Challenge"? Its an event much like the "Rallies" that RawHyde has become known for in the last couple of years, but with a distinctly different flavor. At this event the air will charged with the buzz of competition. That's right... heart pounding, sweaty palm, nervous energy competition.
Here is the story: The Challenge is an event designed to help you get the maximum enjoyment from the fact that you own and ride an "Adventure Bike". It will take place in Southern California at the RawHyde Adventures "training center". It will be a fun, exciting event that will make you glad you purchased an adventure bike! Over the 3 days of the challenge, you must ride 3 obligatory "routes" through some of the beautiful areas around the venue where they are holding the event. (one route each day)
When you have completed the 3 mandatory "routes" you will receive an "armored" cordura adventurer jacket
emblazoned with the logo of the event as your reward.
This embroidered jacket will be the most coveted trophy of the adventure riding world in 2007.
(see below) Its very similar to the competitors jackets worn by motorcyclists in the Paris Dakar Rally, and it will show the world that you "walk the walk" as an adventurer.The routes for these "mandatory rides" will not be difficult, but will encompass all the good stuff that adventure riders seek, such as mostly dirt roads and incredible scenery. Anyone (on an adventure bike) will be able to enjoy the rides. But... The real competition will begin each afternoon as challenge participants test their riding abilities against one another in a series of skill demonstrations. Entry in the skills competition is not mandatory, but will be a lot of fun for both the contestants and the spectators. Raw-Hyde wants you to know that they do realize that this form of competition is not something that will appeal to everyone, so its ok to be a spectator. In fact they need spectators.
