Open House and Swap Meet -- October 20th and 21st
BMW has also announced a new rider training facility in South Carolina for
both road and off road training.
The cost is $480 per day if you bring your own bike, and includes lunch on training days.
This is fantastic news for all the BMW riders on the East coast, and southeast region, but the better news for us is that the
RawHyde Adventures School in Southern California is an unbelievable bargain by comparison!
If you own a GS or are thinking about purchasing one, RawHyde's adventure camp is a great place to learn the necessary skills, and build the confidence you need to take advantage of all the possibilities that BMW Enduro motorcycles can provide both on and off-road.

We are going to have our open house on the 20th and 21st of October. It will be a two day bash with the shop open both days. Saturday will be the main event, but we will also be open on Sunday for a swap meet.
As many of you know BMW has been and will continue to enter farther into the enduro/dirtbike market.

BMW Motorrad USA will supply a BMW Zumo navigation unit with an MSRP of $969 (excluding fitting kit and labor for installation) free to customers who purchase one of the eligible models within the program period of September 15,2007 thru October 31, 2007.
Customers will be obliged to purchase the appropriate fitting kit and pay for installation.
Part 2 – Free Rider Training
Program Overview:
BMW Motorrad USA will supply a free voucher for a one-day road or off-road BMW Motorcycle Rider Training course* with a value between $480 (ride own bike) to $650 (rent R1200GS) at the BMW Performance Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina to customers who purchase one of the eligible models during the program period of September 15, 2007 thru October 31, 2007 and elect not to take the free BMW Zumo.
* valid for one year from date of motorcycle purchase.
No excess value from the certificate will be available in any case. This certificate is nontransferable and is not redeemable for cash under any circumstances.
If a customer enrolls in a second day of training the costs will not be covered by BMW Motorrad USA.
Travel, transportation and hotel accommodations are not included.

The monsoons are behind us and summer is slowly fading into riding season!
Many of our customers have anticipated this and are signing up for service.
As a result the service calendar is filling up. Now's the time to review your service needs.Pre-flight your bike --
- Check the tires. Stop by and we'll help you find and evaluate tire wear indicators.
- Do your clutch and brake cables operate smoothly?
- Is the bike weeping oil anywhere? Is it time for an oil change?
- Time for a new fuel filter?
- Are all of your fasteners tight?
- Check for play in your steering head bearings and final drive.
- Are battery fluid levels ok? We tend to dry out more quickly in our desert atmosphere.
- Charging system and battery within spec?
- Make sure all of your lights are working.
- Got that new electric gadget, but need some help installing it?
- It's going to get darker earlier. We can also help install auxiliary lightning.
