Cartwright
III, Owner and Sales - John is the owner of Iron
Horse Motorcycles. He's been with Iron Horse since
1993. When not having fun on a GS or Boxer Cup Replika, he enjoys desert riding on
his BMW HP-2. |

Jennifer
Thea Cartwright, Owner - Jennifer has been with Iron Horse Motorcycles
for a long time, as well. In addition to helping John run the
dealership, she has her hands full raising two beautiful daughters and a
new baby boy. |

Carol
Luebke, Office Manager
- Carol comes to Iron Horse after 28 years in automotive
bookkeeping. She's almost a home grown Tucsonan -- She moved here
from Minnesota at the ripe old age of one! Carol is a graduate of
the Amphitheater High School and currently lives on an acre of land in
Marana where her dogs, Bernice and Shadow, have plenty of room to romp
around. She's looking forward to new adventures at Iron Horse. |

TR
Wenning, Sales - T.R. comes to us from Michigan by way of
Georgia (for 20+ yrs). He has worked for a cruise line, sold insurance and most recently
served with Edelweiss Bike Travel as tour guide. He's traveled all over the great U.S. of A.,
Canada and a few high alpine tours in Europe. Riding over 1000 miles a week on BMW's has given him a great deal of product knowledge.

Jim
Richardson, Sales & Parts - Jim grew up in Loganville, GA, then moved to Dallas, TX.
He's spent 90% of his motorcycling life in the dirt, mud and rocks. Jim has aspirations to run the Baja 500 and 1000, so he moved to AZ to take his riding to the next level.
His professional experience has been in custom off-roading, primarily rockcrawling for the past 9 years.
He loves hearing about all the great BMW adventures and finds it very satisfying to help a customer attain his or her motorcycling goals.

Max
Shoenburger, Sales & Parts - Max has rejoined Iron Horse on a
part-time basis after successfully becoming a full-time Tucson
firefighter. Congratulations, Max! He currently rides an
R1200GS. |

Jim Strang, Parts
and Service Director - Jim has been with Iron Horse since 1996. He's the proud owner of an '06 R1200GS, ’97 R1100RT, '70 R75/5, '72 R75/5 "73 R60/5 and a pair of '79 Vespa scooters.
He is a graduate of RawHyde Adventure Camp & MSF Dirt Bike School and a member of BMW-MOA, BMW-RA and S.E.A.T, the local BMW club.
He has completed two Iron Butt Association rides, the Bun Burner 1500 miles in 36 hours and the National Master Traveler 50+ National parks in 25 states in one year.
When not on the road to a national rally, he can be found putting yet another accessory on one of his bikes. |

Aaron
Bartz, Showroom Manager - Aaron was born in Tucson and grew up riding dirt bikes.
He currently has a KTM 525 for playing in the dirt and a 2007 R1200GS for playing in everything!!!
In January of 2007, he and his dad took a 10 day, 2,200 mile trip through Cooper Canyon, Mexico on the GS's.
This December they're going down to Baja, then over to Copper Canyon.

Thomas
Ohnstad, Parts Assistant - Tom hails from Minnesota, but moved here 7
years ago to escape the cold winters. He served his country 13 years
in the U.S. Army. Tom has been in the parts business for over 15
years for both motorcycles and autos. He literally grew up with
motorcycles, learning to ride at 6 years old. He loves riding...and
he loves Tucson! |

John McHaney
V, Service Manager and Certified Technician -
John "5" is a former automotive mechanic who came to Iron Horse
in 2001. He loves riding his R1100GS "Adventure" through
the multitude of dirt roads in the southwest. When he became the proud
father of a beautiful little girl, he ignored his family's desires by
naming her Ashlynn instead of John 6. He's John 5. |

Matthew
Noli, Master Certified Technician - Matthew joined Iron Horse in 1998 after graduating
from UA. In addition to his R65LS and R60/2, he maintains an eclectic
collection of Lambretta's, Vespa's, Benelli's. |

Roy
Walz, Master Certified Technician
- Roy is a former long-time Iron Horse technician (8 years with Marty) who took a
break from motorcycles to work at Don Mackey BMW. He's seen the
light and has returned to bikes. Roy owns 20 motorcycles! He
currently enjoys riding his K1200LT. When not around motorcycles,
Roy enjoys flying his hot air balloon, the Blue Moon. He also has
been a commercial pilot since 1985. |

Kevin
Smith, Certified Technician -
Kevin hails from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He came to Arizona and Iron
Horse through the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) in Phoenix.
Kevin has managed to put an unbelievable 50,000 miles on his 2002 Yamaha
YZF600R. Top that on a crotch rocket!! |

Jerrod
Whaley, Parts Helper - Jerrod comes to us from Mountain View H.S.
He really, really wants that K1200R Sport! He's a big UA fan, and
his goal is to become a stunt biker...don't practice with that K1200R
Sport <smile>. Jerrod will serve our country in the U.S Marine
Corps next year...Hoo ah! |
